I've been giving this some thought, and I can't think of a better opportunity to promote freedom and conservatism in this country than to have a rally or a camp-out outside the building where this kangaroo court is going to be staged.
If we get a couple of hundred people to show, that would be a great sign of support. I bet these bozos never saw that before.
We have lots of time so we can plan this thing out and think of all the bells and whistles ahead of time.
1) We'll ask prominent conservatives to come and give speeches.
2) Everybody can bring a video camera and we can upload interviews and the proceedings to YouTube.
3) We'll ask talented people to do a music video of it.
4) We can all bring fake kangaroos in effigy.
5) We'll blast this thing all over conservative media in Canada and the U.S. and invite them to come to cover the kangaroo court. We'll specifically ask the CBC not to show up, however.
6) I'll get a friend to write a song and he can perform it there.
7) While we're there we can host a little fundraising party for Connie and Mark.
We'll make it a party and blow the roof off of this thing.

We're going to make this our defining moment as a country.
The day we actually grew some testicles and stood for something in this country.
I got 15,000 people to my last rally.
I'll try to do better that that this time, but no promises.

It would be when the "proceedings" are happening. If they are over a couple of days, the more resilient of us will camp out outside.
It has to be then because that's when the effect takes root. We want the media and all of the lights, camera, and action pointed right at the head kangaroo who has to make his banana republic ruling.

Are we going to know when this is going to happen? Will we have time to organize?
Here's a thought. The woman lives in Montreal. Connie lives in Kingston. Will the hearings necessarily be held in Ottawa?

By the way, Suzanne, that is a good idea. We need to keep the brain storming going.
I might hire out a giant cartoon kangaroo to show up. There has got to be a costume shop around that has that costume. We can hire the guy to go around Slater Street shaking people's hands and handing out a leaflet on what is going on inside.

If some peeps were coming from Halifax, I could meet them in Moncton (I'm in PEI) instead of driving by myself.
You spoke very well at/on the gay marriage protest - video paycheck.
I had an idea tonight that if someone more gifted with words ( i mainly geek) could write to Glen Becks "the real story" This free speech issue coupled with the Muslim angle could be something he would bring into the program (#3 man in the states) It could help with the pressure angle with more attention from the already growing attention from south of the border.
