| I can't believe nobody wants to comment on Garth Turner. We must have all kinds of Turner fans that don't want to get negative. Is Garth a true conservative? Is he an asset to the party? Would you vote for him again? |

Dacre, I believe this was posted earlier, but I can't find it. For the record, I think Garth Turner is a self-centered egomaniac. If I lived in his riding, I'd spoil my vote. |

Turner is an asset to nobody, only himself in his deluded, egotistical mind. I hope his riding dumps him as CPC candidate before the next election. He is a liability and an idiot.

IMO, Garth Turner is the Carolyn Parrish of the Conservative Party of Canada.
He is a contrarian to his own party for the sole sake of self-gratification and selfishness.
Buh-Bye, Garth.
Your political future is best case as a meaningless rantmeiseter sitting as an independent for the next term.
More likely, after losing your next nomination, you will become totally meaningless, meaning you might actively join the cluck-fest hosted by Craig Oliver and Jane Taber on their weekly chicken-feeds on CTV.

Either that or vote for a fringe party, unless a decent Liberal was running. In the case of the last election, if I lived there, I would spoil. However, if someone like Tom Wappel ran against him, I'd vote for the Liberal in spite of their federal record. |

I have watched Garth for almost twenty years. Garth is for Garth! He really thought he had a right to be in cabinet! After all he is Garth turner!

I've had no use for Garth Turner, ever since he parlayed his 'anti-tax crusader' stint as finanical editor for the Toronto Sun, into a job as the head tax collector(Minister of National Revenue) for Lying Brian and the biggest tax grab in Canadian history.
I feel no sympathy for the CPC: Just like when they let Belinda in , they knew what they were getting. |
