Chuck worked in the logging industry as a young man and was surrounded by the stuff at the time. The type of cancer that he has takes years to take root so I don't believe that it has anything to do with the government buildings.
However if you have been in those buildings over 20 years I would be getting chedked out.
I find it rather telling however that the the government provided and installed asbestos contaminated insulation in native housing and the natives are dying from it and the government so far has just pat them on the head and said diddly. Seems that unless it affects the MPs personally who really gives a hoot.
