This woman is an opportunist.
She and her husband cozied up to the hardline separatist years back because it was the fashionable thing to do.
Now she is ready and willing to wear the cloak of federalism to get the house, the servants, the honour guard, limo, retainers, etc. etc.....
Basically she sold her soul to get the royal treatment.
Think Mickey Moore.
Now that the truth has come out, she still believes that as a crockumentary maker, she does not have to justify or refute her previous statements.
So then if she was never in favour of separation as she implied, did she live a lie all those years ago?
How do we not know she isn't doing that now?

Well she's a perfect Quebec Liberal isn't she? Deny the obvious, conceal your true intentions and stick to the lies no matter what. Is it just me, or does this sound like it was crafted by a lawyer with the same skill as the one who came up with "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky"?

Now this is sure to outrage the sepratists in Quebec. They will release information proving her links. They will also call her a turncoat, or worse.
The pressure will be kept up till she is forced to decline the position as GG.
My one thought on all this is that if Martin thought that by appointing her as GG he hoped to appease the separitist element in Quebec and there by rasie his fortunes in Quebec he was sadly mistaken. What a poor political play. He has eveything to gain, but now will probably lose. HE will lose face in Quebec and possibly in the Liberal party.
Could this be the Liberals excuse to oust Martin; because don't forget Gomery is coming up?
Watch the bigger picture people. This could get interesting. Remeber the CBC on strike the spin machine is on pause.

I sure hope some separatist has kept the "blue dress" that will expose Jean's lies and ultimately lead to her downfall. |
