I dunno, for me personally, I think the current flag design reflects a shared history between the whole country, and blue seems to be a good colour reflecting the generally populist conservative history of much of W.C., plus, even if the West and/or Alberta were to secede, to make an outright new design may not go over well with some folks. Obviously, this is just a thought I had in my head, just figured I'd show you what I envision as a worthy successor.

The all blue one looks better. It needs a bit of iridescence though - like the American flag or like the blue border around my [leftist /Liebralism The Problem to Every Solution] image in my signature.
There's too much solid colour in this blue making it appear bland.

Contest? Mine are all based on 3 provinces BC, AB, SK If MB is added it could be changed but I like these better for demo's.
