I'm sorry? I have to earn the privilege of not having my words altered and my thoughts misrepresented?
You don't get it. The root of this fighting is not at issue. What is at issue is that I can't trust to have my thoughts accurately reflected on this forum. One post or one million -- it doesn't matter. You change the words then post them under my name. This is thought police 1984 nonsense that should be anathema to everyone on this board, regardless of whatever squabbling is going on. This is one of those fundamental axiomatic principles that you just don't mess with.
And I won't leave. You'll have to kick me off for defending my right to have my words remain my own, not subject to modification according to the whims of anyone. |

When I signed up to this site I was fully aware that I was in effect in Connie and Marks house and they made the rules. The software filters they have in place are there to protect them and us. If we don't like the rules then we have the option of not playing the game. Safety is safety and I'll put up with filters if it means that Connie and others are protected.

Just to be sure we have this all straight. You come onto our site and tell us you don't like the way we run it and threaten to leave and trash us elsewhere if we don't meet your demands. When we tell you to go ahead and leave, of course you don't carry out your threat because if you did no one would notice or care. So you then demand to be thrown out.
Why is it so important to you to get banned from FD? Nobody is forcing you to come here and no one is telling you to stay.

This is one of the best sites around if not THE best. Connie and Mark have been fair and balanced and it's a joy to visit all the time. We each have a responsibility to play by the rules and when we do, no problemo.

I can understand restricting the ability to post links from other sites. What I do find odd is the substitution of one link with another. |

That was actually a joke that Stephen would get. He supported Belinda in the last leadership race and I tease him about it all the time.
I think everyone needs to lighten up a bit.

Incidentally, if you click on the link to Taylor's website, it takes you to Taylor's website even though it displays belinda.ca.
But, apparently Angry was too busy winding his angry little panties into a knot to notice that.
