No, I've read it was started by the president of the Ontario Conservative Campus association.

Why.... because the line that the Liberals insisted that we needed within the legislation will be used.

If it is such a foreign concept for Canadians to actually hold their government at it's word then why do we bother to bring these kinds of laws forward.

Right now it is the law and Michael Moore broke the law and as anyone else should be held to account. His entire career has been based on the inadequacies of business and government when they do not follow the rule of law.

So I say if you're going to dish it out Michael you should also have to take it.

All they have to do is cite the charter...freedom of speech...and Moore gets off.

Unless......they can prove that the law resides in section 1 of the Charter on Resonable Limits. bingo

A charter challenge will cost Moore tens of thousands of dollars. Very Happy

Dosent matter how many times Kasra says otherwise, the organization is still called the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association.

Until the Party Executive votes to change it.

So they're the provincial youth?

If the law gets struck down, then freedom of speech reigns. We win either way. Smile

Michael Moore makes Homo Sapiens look like idiots. Laughing

Are WE conservatives?
He makes his living like a parasite living off the production of society.
He Broke the law here.
Logic dictates that we conservatives use any and all lawful means to stop him.

Oh, Right. We wouldn't want to let reality get in the way of being tolerant of evil.

Just noticed this now -- the story was covered http://sympatico.msn.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2004/07/14/moore_elxn040714.html, and there was a link to it on my homepage (sympatico.msn.ca). Looks like it's getting some media attention.[/url]

And earn him at least that much in favourable publicity. The law is stupid, but I don't want Moore to reap the publicity accorded the one who will see it struck down. The man's foolish opinions are already far too popular.
